Samlesbury Hall Relaxed Spring Ceremony

Samlesbury Hall is an absolute blast from the past built in 1325 this venue really does have a lot of history. With its traditional open fireplaces and grand stately halls anyone looking for a venue that has history Salisbury Hall is the place to book your wedding.

Church Ceremony

Ric & Sophie started with a traditional cermeoney in their local church in BamberBridge Preston. Weddings in churches are not as popular these days, so photographing here was really nice. After the ceremony, the wedding party made their way to Salisbury Hall for the wedding breakfast where they were awaiting Ric & Sophie to arrive. I was following the vintage wedding car that they had hired to take them to the venue stopping on the way to take a few photos where Sophie Mum & Nan had taken their wedding photos many years ago.

Wedding Breakfast & Speeches

The wedding breakfast was held in the Great Hall, where the guests were treated to Pie and chips & sticky toffee pudding.  The speeches were a highlight of the evening, with Ric’s best man delivering a hilarious and heartfelt speech that had everyone in stitches. After the meal, the couple took advantage of the stunning surroundings for some portraits. The historic building provided the perfect backdrop for some creative photos.

First Dance

As the evening wore on, the party kicked into high gear. Everyone hit the dancefloor, and there was no shortage of laughter, smiles, and good times.
