Holdsworth House Winter Wedding

Jane & Brett had chosen to get married on New Year’s Eve what a way to bring in the New Year! The morning started with me arriving at the stunning Yorkshire Wedding Venue Holdsworth house around 10 am which was my first time at the Venue, to be greeted by Brett and his two adorable dogs who were just as excited. I made my way up towards the bridal prep where Jane and her friends were all getting their hair and makeup finished, the bridesmaids wore red velvet dresses keeping in with the colours of the Wedding red and white.

New Year’s Eve Winter Ceremony

The ceremony room was decorated in red and white roses with white chair covers which was the perfect colours for a Winter Wedding and still keeping the Christmas feel. The ceremony did not go on for long around 30 minutes this is usually how long it takes for the formalities of the ceremony. The guests made their way out into the garden despite it being very cold the sun was shining and the drinks and canapes were flowing.

Jane & Brett made their way outside with a glass of bubbly in hand to be greeted by all the guests throwing confetti around them with a big cheer, with the beautiful Venue in the background shortly after group shots were taken on the large lawn outside in front of the Manor House, followed by portraits of the Bride & Groom taken around various spots in the grounds of Holdsworth House Yorkshire.

Fairytale Wedding with warm winter colours

The wedding breakfast was a bit different with a surprise for Brett, Jane had hired a singing waiter who fell to the ground dropping glasses and spoons to then jump up and start singing. The guests were surprised to see that it was a singing waiter after they all rushed to help him off the floor! Everyone was in stitches laughing but once he started to sing the party started with guests up on their chairs singing and dancing around the room! A great day to bring in the New Year complete with sparklers outside just before I left for the evening!
