Bashall Barn Wedding

Bashall Barn is a rural countryside Wedding Venue located in the heart of the Ribble valley surrounded by beautiful panoramic views for miles overlooking the green hills. Emily & Jordan’s Wedding had an elegant and classic look. Bashall Barn was dressed with white roses and green foliage, the perfect combination for a Summer Wedding. The Ceremony room is light and bright with the seating set out in a horseshoe shape making the most of the amazing views in the background with the doors pushed back bringing the outside in.

Countryside Wedding Ceremony

Emily and her bridesmaids started to get ready nice and early as there were six bridesmaids and six groomsmen all together, the bridesmaids received a personalised bottle of moet and they all got matching pearl bags which were a nice touch from the couple. The bridesmaids added to the elegance all wearing white dresses which I’ve not seen before but I’ve been told is very in at the moment! Jordan and the Groomsmen wore black tux complementing the white dresses which was a sophisticated look. Emily opted for a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline from Lulu Brown with handmade clay statement headband and earrings keeping it simple and classy. It was a nice surprise when Emily & Jordan’s dogs arrived in their bow ties and made an appearance on the aisle, but of course, not to take the spotlight away from Emily’s grand arrival in her beautiful dress. The ceremony was short and sweet and before you knew it all the guests were outside enjoying a glass of champagne on the open terrace overlooking the Ribble Valley.

Bashall Barn Wedding Breakfast

The guests then made their way into the wedding breakfast room which was dressed with tall white and green floral centrepieces tying into the countryside vibe, the top table had a green leaf backdrop entwined with twinkling fairy lights ‘Forever & Always’. The Groomsmen and Bridesmaids entered the room to a song of choice by the couple to get the party started. Then DFC Entertainment introduced the newly married couple to the room and everyone had their napkins spinning in the air! The room had a real buzz and energy which was a great fun way to start off the speeches. Moving away from tradition a personal touch was to see the three Maid of Honours speeches each telling their tales of Emily! Emily & Jordan treated the guests to a gin bar to keep the drinks flowing which lasted well into the evening.

The evening guests started arriving around 7pm, shortly after everyone had arrived the DJ gathered everyone around the dancefloor for the first dance. DFC Entertainment provided the DJ and Sax player making sure everyone was up on the dance floor partying the night away.
