I’m Kyle, a northerner with a cheesy grin who would love to bring my creative eye to your special day. From ceremonies in medieval barns lit with twinkling fairy lights to funky festivals in farmer’s fields, I’ve been shooting unique weddings around the UK now for six years, working with over one hundred fantastic couples – many of whom I’m proud to now call friends.

My approach to photography is natural, with a documentary touch that captures the unique story of your day as it unfolds. Above all, I want my couples to feel completely at ease, so they can savour every magical moment of their wedding day.

How I Work

I typically photograph full day weddings at Wyresdale Park, starting during the later stages of morning preparations, and getting wedding photos throughout the day of natural moments as they happen, all the way to the drinks reception and dancing in the evening in the party barn. As your wedding photographer, I’ll be capturing moments you don’t see whilst you’re both busy enjoying your special day.

Where To Take Couples For Portraits?

Wyresdale Park is nestled on the outskirts of Scorton, Lancashire—a venue where I have worked a lot over the years. Every time I photograph here, there’s always something new and exciting to explore and capture, creating stunning portraits. Whether it’s a winter or summer wedding at Wyresdale Park, the photo opportunities are endless

Portrait 1
The lawn behind the estate is a real sun trap. This is where you usually have your drinks reception after the ceremony, but I like to take the opportunity to capture some unstaged portraits between the trees before you make your way to greet all your friends and family.

When capturing portraits, one of my favourite moments is leading couples down to the serene lake nestled within the enchanting Wyresdale Park estate. Just a short, five-minute walk through the grounds, this hidden gem becomes truly magical for those adventurous enough to step into the charming rowing boat. As you glide towards the centre of the lake, surrounded by rolling hills and soft reflections on the water’s surface, it creates the perfect, romantic setting and the most perfect backdrop

The AppleCafe, a greenhouse coffee shop covered in grapevines and colourful climbing plants, can be a lovely spot to visit later in the evening if the weather is wet and windy.

After getting out of the rowing boat on the lake, before you make your way back, the lane running alongside the lake can be a lovely location to stage some portraits using the dappled light shining through the trees.

It was a rainy day at Wyresdale Park, and the couple were looking for some cool and creative portraits. I spotted this weathered greenhouse located just behind the Loft Spa. Using a mirror, I had the couple stand in the center of the room, creating this cool portrait of them both.
